Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo was pleased with the improved performance of his team in the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.

“We responded well to the performances we had and to the fact that we conceded a penalty to Palace,” the Forest boss said after the game.
“We created chances and controlled the game. The second half was different. It was a good response but Palace caused us problems.”
“It was important not to leave too much space for counter-attacks. We are positive but it is not easy to play at Selhurst Park.”
“We did a lot better than last week, especially when we were down. It was very important to react quickly and then the game got a little bit messy.”
Next up, Forest, currently sixth in the table, will be at home to relegated Leicester City.
